Ever had a moment that totally changed your direction?

Below is a video giving a special thanks to someone who changed my life and likely at the time didn’t even know its impact.

Back in college, I was just a kid who loved drawing. No real plan, no clue what I was doing with my Fine Art degree. I thought, what am I gonna do—write “loves to draw” on my CV?

Then one day, I made a flipbook for a project—50 little sketches of a statue crumbling, frame by frame. Showed it to my teacher, and she said:

“You know this is called animation, right?”

That one comment blew my mind. I didn’t know animation was a real job. She told me where I could study it, and just like that—my whole path changed.

So this is a thank you to Caroline King, who probably didn’t realise that a quick convo on a Tuesday morning would change my life.
